Our family has always enjoyed eating at I-Hop. The menu offers a wide selection and in the past we have always had good service. However, the new restaurant located on Beltway 8 in Pasadena, TX is another story. On three different occasions we have had bad experiences all dealing with service. Each time we were seated quickly and someone came to take our order. It was then the problems began. No one ever came to refill our drinks and the wait for the food was ridiculous. We have waited for up to an hour and a half for food. The waiters and waitresses seem more interested in visiting in the back than waiting on customers. The management seldom is out checking on how things are going, they are visiting as well. After the last trip with my son, where it took over 30 minutes for our order to come the the table, I do not plan to eat there again unless there are some drastic changes made in the time of food preparation.
