My husband and I went to Smokey Bones one afternoon. I usually like Darden's resturants but not this time. I am a very picky eatter and only eat hamburgers, pasta, and chicken. I ordered a hamburger and they brought me out what I thought was a hamburger. I took one bite and didn't like it and even told my husband that it was gross, but I'm not one to send things back when I don't like them (my husband works at a resturant and I know if you send something back they do not so nice things to it) so I just didn't eat it.
When the bill came I noticed they served me a buffalo burger. It was so gross. They charged me a dollar more for it and it was obvious that I only ate one bite because it was so gross. I called the manager over and my husband had to talk to the manager for me because I was crying I was so upset. Again, I was crying because I don't eat anything other than hamburgers, pasta, and chicken and my stomach is very sensitive. I was ill for the next few hours.
The manager just took off the buffalo burger but charged us for the rest of it. I can't believe that they wouldn't eat the $6 meal my husband had to make a guest happy. We also asked for more butter for the appitizer (which was bread that we had to pay for, don't most resturants give bread for free?), and they never brought that.
I also was at work about a month or two later and had a guest come to me to tell me how bad this resturant was. I'm almost sure that we are not the only ones that are unhappy with this place. Never eat at a Smokey Bones because they are rude, gross, and nasty.
