My husband and I went to eat at Applebees in Chattanooga TN on 7/21 where I ordered something new to me called Lemon Parm Shrimp. It was fabulous! The flavor was excellent, the portion enough to fill me and the rice was great, with a slice of lemon on the side to squeeze for a little more zing! Wow! I begged my husband to go back as we were on our way to vacation in MN to see our family for 10 days. Once we reached MN, we did stop at Applebees again where I ordered the same thing thinking I would get a wonderful and healthy meal. We have eaten at the St Cloud Applebees many times in the past and they are a bit more expensive, but I have never had any complaints. Unfortunately, this time I was not satisfied. I was really upset. The serving was small (yes it is shrimp, but it was more expensive than in TN to start with!), I do not even eat that much, and then the serving of rice was just as small and also just ordinary rice, not jasmine rice like in TN, there were no bursting flavors for my tongue, and to top it all there was not even a little slice of lemon... Come on Applebees in St Cloud (get your stuff together). This shrimp dish is served in a creamy parmasan sauce, and that was thin. My husband and I ordered the same food and drinks we did in TN and our bill was almost $5 more and I was just so upset. I want Applebees to do something about this. It was 7/25 when we ate in St Cloud. I have both receipts. We spent almost $70 in 5 days at these 2 stores, and 1 time was not worth it! We live in Florida and travel to MN quite regular as all our family is there. Matter of fact we need to go back for a memorial service the end of September. I would like to be able to tell everyone that mistakes happen and restaurants do right by people.
