We love Applebee's, it's our go-to restaurant! However, last night was our first bad experience. I ordered the lemon parmesan shrimp and rice. It sounded so good! When I got it, the food was half on the plate, like someone tripped and it all moved to one side. I had a few bites. The rice was ok but my shrimp was tasteless and rubbery. My fiance's shrimp was much better; he had the steak and shrimp.
We told a server and he said he would re-fire it with the blackened shrimp. Ok, that would be good. Well, all I got was more shrimp. I had more shrimp. Still a little rubbery but better, and cold rice. When the server came back my fiance said we expected the whole dish to be re-fired.
