Recently the service at the IHop on US1 & 270 street in Homestead Florida has been extremely dissatisfying and disappointing. As a usual Sunday morning it is expected to be busy but nevertheless my husband and I sit and wait to be seated. Our last visit was the one that upset us the most and prompted us to come forward with their poor service. After being seated in a clean but wet empty table, the waitress came up to our table did not greet us and asked us what we wanted to drink. We both asked for coffee and water. She came back with the coffee and served it in the cups. We asked her for utensils and creamer. She came back with creamer. After pouring sugar and creamer we waited unbalanced to stir the coffee we waited. I had to get up and take the utensils from another table. We sat waiting for our waters and food for a long time. Our food came and still no waters. Our plates were placed down and my breakfast was incomplete. Straight from the menu the stuffed garden crepes come garnished with holandaise sauce and chopped tomotoes which were absent in my plate. The second waitress took my plate and again we sat and waited for sauce and chopped tomotoes to be poured over my plate. During this time we asked for our waters again and ketchup. My husband had to get up and get his own ketchup. When our waters came they arrived in small glasses. During the meal I drank my water and no one ever came to refill it nor did anyone acknowledged us. Finally the 2nd waitress came by and asked if all was ok. We replied by asking for our check, which never came to our table after waiting for it. We decided to get up and go to the cash register. The young man who acknowledged attempted to take care of us. The bill had not been printed and we had to tell him where we were seated. The 2nd waitress looked back at us then prompted the young man to the bill still in the computer system. We paid and left never to return and make sure that our friends and family never go eat at that location.
