I am 78 years old, Terri came to paint my condo in Flordia and was there for 3 days, she was paid in cash to paint and when completed she tried to get payment again, my care taker stopped it. When I returned home to Michigan I began receving letters from her about having no money, needing a car, her daughter being sick but no money to take care of her. Finally she asked to borrow $ 2700.00 for a car and she would pay me $ 100.00 per month. I sent her the check that she cashed, not at a bank but a express check cashing company. Then the letters started she had a tumor in her brain and needed money for the surgery because she had no insurance.
Jan 2 she cashed the check, the first payment of $ 100.00 was received after I took her to small claims court, where she again said she would pay $ 100.00 per month. Since January she has paid a total of $ 150.00.
She prey's on the elderly until she get's the money she wants from them.
