Although my mortgage loan fully qualifies for the National Mortgage Settlement for a refinance, my customer service rep at BofA says I don't because I have not been "solicited". This is despite finding our from the Principle Reduction office of BofA that my account fully qualifies (its a Countrywide subprime bought by BofA, with Bank of NY as the investor).
Terrible service since May, and I'm active duty combat veteran and I might lose my house in early 2013 when I'm ordered to move!
