Banking with Suntrust and have a credit card with them. Pay my balance on time every momth at a teller so I have a record. Use checking account to transfer payment. Went to use it at the grocery store today $250 worth of groceries. Declined! Why because they show no record of it and it takes 5 business days to release my funds. However, if I pay $82 to them now they will allow me to use my credit line. Isn't that special? Which means they will collect more money from me! I don't understand why this week is the issue when it is done the exact same way every month whether the date of payment is a Friday or Saturday. I have issues with them before but this takes the cake. Heaven forbid I am in an accident or get stuck on the highway somewhere only to be declined. Need a new bank. Any ideas?
