I have been a customer for over 20 years.in July I made arrangements to have my Bank of America credit cards (2 of them) paid out of my Bank of America checking account every 3rd of the month. However, a payment was taken on the 3rd and then again on the original date of the 21st of August and again on September 21st This caused my checking account to be negative (which it still is). I have spent hours on the phone with different departments from BOA since Thursday. Friday I was told that the 2 payments charged to my checking account on Aug. 22 would be refunded to my account and that since it was BOA cc's to a BOA checking account it should be back in my account this past friday, today (monday) being the latest. It is not there and each day I am building up overdraft fees and I have no cash available to me! When my direct deposit goes in Wednesday it will be eaten up by the negative balance because of this and will again leave me with no cash! I am extremely upset and am being told that it takes 7-10 business day now. Which i know is a lie because i work in the hotel industry and when we reverse a charge it may take 2-5 business days HOWEVER if we contact the bank directly and fax authorization to release the funds it is refunded back to the customer immediately. Meanwhile checks are going to bounce and i have no money because of this.
