Ing Direct appears to be an awesome company to deal with at first glance. They randomly closed my account (which had roughly $3000) in it because my account had gone negative at one point (ok, understandable) a few months ago. However, what is NOT understandable is that they supposedly closed my account on 10/9 and I STILL do not have access to the funds in the account because of some $8 pending charge.
I am also suppose to wait until 11/7 (per Justin) for them to review the account again. So THEY can decide if I am able to get MY money. I want to be DONE with these people, yet they continue screwing with me with more and more reasons why I can't have MY money. How is that legal? Ok, keep the $8 or hell, even $100-but release the rest of the money. Not cool, never heard of any foolishness like this. DON'T use ING for checking-savings is fine. Not to mention it's a pain to not have a local bank.
