Provident Funding Associates
Worst customer service, constantly slap customer with fees, rude and unhelpful

Provident Funding is the worst mortgage company ever. Please stay away from this place. They will do everything in their power to slap you with fees and worst of all, they do not help customers, they aggravate their situations. I am struggling to pay my mortgage. I am barely making ends meet. Provident Funding lost my mortgage payment twice in two years. They fist time they did it, I let it go but the second time, it didn't seem right. I had to put a stop payment on the check I mailed to them; it costed me $30.00. Then, I went ahead and called Provident Funding to let them know about the stop payment I put on the check and I told them that I was going to make a payment on-line. The customer representative I spoke to didn't seem to care about what I was doing and was absolutely indiferent. I went ahead and made a payment on-line and I got a notification right away saying that my payment went through.By the way, I had to pay $7.50 to sign up to make the payment on-line! Three days later, I got an e-mail from Provident Funding in which they said that I had no sufficient funds and I was supposed to pay $25.00. I was baffled!!! I called them and they said that it was my fault that the account number I entered on-line was entered incorrectly (?). I couldn't believe what I was hearing specially because I got an confirmation e-mail saying that the payment went through! Anyway, I am going to do everything in my power to get a new loan and get Provident Funding off my back. They do not know the meaning of customer service. They do not help their customers. This is not a way to do business. Stay far away from this place.
