I would like to share my negative experience dealing with MedChoice Financial (MedChoice Credit Corp) in Boca Raton Florida. My wife and I were approved for an unsecured loan to finance our son's school tuition. Our application for the loan was approved for $30,000 on 4-26. We were told the funding of the money to our son's school would take approx 3-4 weeks.in a nutshell, MedChoice never funded the loan, but they did manage to debit our account for $804.68 in May, June and July... Anf they never funded the loan!
Many phone calls and e-mails resulted in us asking to reduce the amount of the loan to $20,000 in hopes that the lower amount would help get the money faster. Bill G the President of MedChoice agreed to do this without any penalties due to the circumstances. We were way past due with the school and we kept having to tell them "it should be any day now" MedChoice gave us a new contract for $20,000 on July 29th. I was told by Bill that the funding was "real close" After hearing that it was real close for weeks and weeks, we finally asked for a full refund. Bill told me it was not a problem and we even have an e-mail from his office telling us we would get $xx amount back. Well, they gave us about half of OUR money back and they came up with an excuse that they paid a commission to Clark Behavioral, so they would not return OUR money until they received payment back from Clark. After calling Clark, I found out that the two companies have more than a few differences between them and Clark claims they instructed MedChoice to deduct the commission on our loan from other money that MedChoice owes Clark. I don't really care. MedChoice debited all of the money from our account and they are responsible to refund us all of the money they took. End of story. They failed to fund a loan after we waited for about 120 days. This was after the loan was approved! My advice is to consider shopping somewhere else when looking for financing.
