No one at the bank is quite sure why I am getting charged a monthly fee and after 23 minutes on the phone with a call center at 800USBANK most of which was spent on hold. I am still waiting for a call from my branch. The fee will most likely be ironed out, my problem was the call center. I was on hold 18 of the 23 minutes. The call was eventually answered after 6 minutes or more. The hold music was very loud, nervous piano music and was not quite on the station. I told the CS rep. That the call center itself is adding anxiety to its customers by the system that is failing in handling calls. Nervous music, too loud, with static, wait time far too long, CS Rep handled the call like a disinterested person waiting for payday. More training and care need to take place at the call center.
