Gerald Ramdeen, Ambassador Andrew Young, Rick Hayes and Carl Masters formed Millennium Equity and claim to have over 1 billion US dollars to invest in small and large companies alike. They actually try to convince young or struggling companies to pay $US 100,000 refundable retainers with the promise of funding within 60 days.
They can't prove that they have any money to invest.
Not a single company has been funded once these companies pay the retainer management disappears and creates an endless chain of excuses without refunding a penny.
The two companies I know of that have paid retainers are Gramercy Ventures and Absorbent Technologies.
I am sure there are more.
