Doug Kaller Wanted us to go to a credit rebuilding company

Went to Mr Kaller to have a home loan. We were supprised that we could qualify for one. My credit report was blocked due too past fraud. Went home and had it released to him. To my supprise when he was able to view my report my credit went up not down. I was elated until. Mr Kaller wanted my husband and myself to use a credit repair service that would charge us 89ish to statr and 60 ish a month per person to " clean our credit" I asked him several times why I would need it since my credit rateing went up not down by like 70 points. He hemmed and hawed and stuttered. Claiming we had bad credit after BK. But all the stuff he was seeing as late or bad was included in the BK not new bad credit. He never read the small print. He never sent the loan for pre approval or qualify just started pushing us for his " friends company"

This is a letter sent by mr Kaller reguarding our credit...

Hi Sean,

Attached is the credit report for Donald & Tammy. Tammy was a victim of identity theft. They did a Chapter 13 in 2002 which was discharged in 03 but still shows on the report. Tammy has the discharge papers. My concern is negative credit after the BK. Don has 5 medical collections. He worked as a slot tech for the Sienna Casino and broke his leg on the job. This happened around the time the Sienna closed. The casino was deducting health care premiums from their employee's checks but did not pay the insurance company. When Don broke his leg, he believed he was covered.

There is also an AT&T collection showing that was paid on February 28th. I have attached proof of the payment. Tammy has 2 collection accounts, The Dish Network account is for equipment that has been returned that they continue to bill her for. The disposal company has been sold. It wasn't until the new owners took over that they started pursuing payment.

My concern is the possibility of the underwriter insisting on these all being settled. Obviously, paying all will be very expensive. My other concern is changing the date of last activity. As newer derogatory credit, I am concerned Don and Tammy's scores will drop. As I explained on the phone, Tammy and Don do not feel they can both afford to enroll in your program. I would like your input as the best way to address these issues. Thank you, Doug

The att bill was paid he was faxed a letter reguarding payment of said bill BK was discharged dish finally updated system to show no monies owed the last bill for waste management was taken care of as well. As for husbands dr bills they are being sorted out threw attorneys. And here is another convo..

Hi Donald and Tammy, Mike Huber, my companys attorney, contacted me concerning Tammys complaint. My only agenda was to help you own your own home. Although I believe credit repair would benefit you, I never told you that you had to do this. Although your credit score is an important part of the mortgage approval process, there are additional factors the underwriter has to consider.in you had a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. You told me this was discharged in 2003. Unfortunately, the discharge was not reported to the credit bureaus and the BK is still showing on your reports. It should have come off the reports 7 years after the discharge. Anyone who has had a bankruptcy, done a short sale, or had a foreclosure is held to a higher standard. Mortgages are sold in the secondary market. As a result, they must be warrantable. Derogatory credit after a bankruptcy, short sale, or foreclosure is viewed as a pattern. A 30-day late payment must be explained and can result in credit denial. Collections are a much larger problem. I know that FHA rescinded the new medical collection policy. The new policy is underwriters discretion. The underwriters job is to protect the investors. As a result, it is highly unlikely someone will get approved with collections after a bankruptcy. I offered 2 solutions for the collection accounts. One is to work with a reputable credit repair company. The other choice is to negotiate a settlement with your creditors. If you negotiate, you must make the payment contingent upon the creditor removing the collection account from your report. Finding a way to remove the bankruptcy would also be a wise decision. The combination of collections and bankruptcy make it near impossible to have a mortgage approved. You need to find a way to remove the collections and bankruptcy from your reports. Until you address these issues, I cannot approve you for a mortgage. If you would like to challenge the report, you can find sample credit dispute letters on a number of websites including the website for the Federal Trade Commission. You can challenge the collections and bankruptcy yourself, negotiate and settle with the creditors, including removing the collection from your report as part of the settlement, or work with a good credit repair company. I recommended the credit repair company believing it will be less expensive than negotiated settlements. I also believe this will give you the greatest chance of success. As I stated earlier, my only goal was to help you. Once you have resolved these issues, I will be glad to assist you with financing a home. Best wishes, Doug

He wanted us to go threw Continential Credit LLC who was also on here as a rip off. When I contacted the office of Continential Credit and asked if they were liscensed to practice in Nv I was told yes. I asked for the Lisc # and was hung up on.

Yet he continued to hem and haw and blame he had copies of all the papers that were paid off discharged ect and he still wouldn't budge to help us get a home. I finally reported him to the states mortage review board since he was in essence holding our loan as hostage..

There is a happy ending though. We have since found a mortage company that has approved us and we are in waiting on a short sale bid accepted.

Thanks for nothing Doug and for being a d*uche bag. That 24 hours you held our loan was the worst. Learn a lesson dont frick people cause it's just not nice...
