I stayed at the lodge of four seasons at lake ozarks missouri on sep 3. Stayed in presidential suite as I normally like to do. I always use the resort valet service on my stays at the resort. However this was a bad decision this visit. It was a rainy night on saturday so we returned to the resort around 900pm, turned the truck into the valet. The resort was a ghost town which is rare for that time of year but it was pooring down rain, so we returned to our room early. Upon getting my truck back from valet as we wer loading our stuff i could tell my console lid was open, so i opened it. It had been ransacked. Looked in the glove box, same thing ransacked. As I'm looking around I see that the tow/haul mode shifter button is torn out of the shifter handle. I call for their security guard. Whole nother story their. Long story short. I believe someone on the resort staff took my truck out, ransacked it. Tore the transmission out of it. The lodge failed to make a police report at all. Then travelers insurance took almost 3 months to get to me. I'm a contractor couldn't wait for them, had to trade the truck in, which was being saved for my sons 16th birthday on december the 3rd. Travelers drug the situation out until I wouldn't just go away, now they have outright denied the claim. Say that I never showed the staff at the resort. When I showed about 6 people. This was not your average truck. I'm a contractor it was a 2004 RAM 2500HD, 4x4, with just about every opton on, all lettered up with my company logos, being groomed and well taken care of for my 16 year old son. This put a huge situation right in our laps, and not by our choosing. It's hurt my son deeply, and caused a large financial strain on a family with 3 kids. Just trying to live.
