I went to the lodge of four seasons at lake of the ozarks missouri on the weekend of sept. 3rd, as I have for approx. 25 years. Used the valet service as I always have. Stayed in what is considered their presidential suite as I always have done for almost 25 years. This visit wasn't a good one. I go their to visit my step father, whom is in failing health, who lives in one of the resorts communtiy of homes. On saturday evening it was pouring down rain so I returned to the resort early that evening around 9:00 P.M. Turned my truck into the valet staff as I had always done. It was pouring down rain and the resort was a ghost town, so I turned into my room early. The next morning they pulled my truck up, I could tell it had been ransacked. Shifter button was also torn off. Turns out transmission was blown up too. They refuse to take care of the situation. Have repeatedly outright lied about the whole thing even happening, or that it was brought to their attention, and played insurance company games ever since. Do not trust them with your vehicle, your personal property, and don't give them your hard earned money. They didn't file an insurance claim for almost 3 months. After I wouldn't just drop it. To only have their insuramce co. Tell me tuff luck. Do not trust them what so ever!!! Bad business people. Their insurance company is travelers insurance. Don't trust them either. This truck was to be for my 16 year old sons birthday. You can only imagine what grief this has caused my family. Let alone the financial burden it has caused.
