Guardian Financial Benefits calls people with their personal information. They tell you they got the information from your application for a credit card that you applied for and was denied. Since I had applied for several companies on line, I really belived thier story. They told me that for $249.00 I would get a VISA or Master Card with the credit limit of $2,000.00 and just for applying I would also recieve medical benefits for one year for my whole family and $500.00 shopping spree coupons. Sounds great!
I was desperate and I needed the money to pay some doctor bills. I figured this would be a great way to consolodate them in one payment.
At first I refused to talk to them I was very leary about giving them my information they called me numerous times. I should have known better - what company calls to beg you to apply for thier credit card "NONE"!
Finally after the 6th call from them I fell in their trap. I was asked for my routing number and my account number so I gave it to them. I was told that they would debit my account on said date. After giving all my information. I was told that they had to record our conversation for my protection and to validate the trasaction.
Finally I was given a confirmation number and was told that I would receive my "PACKET" in the mail in 20 days. I waited 20 days then after the 20 days I called Guardian Financial and told them that I had not received my "PACKET". I told them that I was promised it would arrive in 20 days. They then changed their story. They then told me that they gave me the wrong information it was not 20 days it was 25 business days.
Guardian Financial Benefits are "RIPOFFS" and I too belive I will the "PACKET' they said that would be sent.
