I am contacting you in reguards to a Quick Loan account I have had. The problem is that I have had a Qucik Loan for some time to help out because of credit problems. I have fixed the problems with my credit and I am now able to qualify for a home.
My credit score was about 5 point to low becasue Qucik Loan is reporting I have 2 loans open. I do not, your only allow one at a time. I asked the manager to verify that the loan was paid in full by writing a letter and she said she would not. I asked her to initial a print out that said the loan was paid and she would not. She refered me to the corporate office and the corporate office said no also. They referred me to Transunion Credit Reporting.
Transunion investigated it and satated that their report was right and that is how Quick Loan is reporting it. I then paid off the open loan I had and sent that into Transunion through the Mortgage company we are currently trying to get the loan from. Transunion contacted Qucik Loan and they would not confirm the loans were paid in full.
This is going to cost me an additonal $6,000.00 at closing because of the way it is affecting my credit score. I am very frustrated because I have worked very hard to bring my credit up and have been very faithful paying the loan shouldn't they report it right and why should I have to pay $6000.00 more when the report is wrong.
If they are doing this too me how many other people are the effecting? In this time of the economy credit is everything why should they be able to give me a blackeye when I was honest and fourth right? Please help!
