I got a call from a lady named Amamda from Guardian Financial not to long ago. She pitched me this real good deal on a Master Card with a limit of no less than $2000. Good right? That's what I thought. I had this woman's number, which I later lost, Had an extension and everything. (Kicking myself for loosing this piece of paper).
In any rate, I give some other guy my info which included my bank info. Big mistake. I'm thinking everything is cool, then without warning, my $299 is deducted from my account. At first, I had no idea that they event took the money, I hadn't checked my account until today, and saw that indeed they did take the money.
Now "Amanda", is throwing the sales pitch, and the other guy, who I forgot whom he was, but that was written on that paper as well, has recoreded all of the conversation, I guess to cover tracks in the event somebody says that that the transaction was fully granted and permission was given for them to do what they did. I Hate being ripped off especially when I called myself getting my credit back on track.
It's a good thing for credit reports. I'd like to not only report this, but I'd like to try to remedy the situation with my bank to see if they can get a refund of my money. I will print out the how tos on the refund process, and hope that I can restore my balance to my account and then close the account. I hope I don't fall victim to this kind of trap again in the future. Thank you complaint for giving the 11 on this company.
