This company is legalized den of thieves who claims that they sent out notices about the changes in terms of service and we NEVER got the notice.
As soon as the 0% trial period ended, instead of leaving it at 8.9% as they promised, they jacked it up to 23.24% because we were late in paying a medical bill which showed up on our credit report even though we have paid the credit card bill on time.
We were TOLD that the medical bills should NOT have any effect on our rating and the delinquent medical bill was the hospital's fault because they screwed up the billing royally meaning they claimed that they mailed the claims to our insurance company who have repeatedly said that they never got them. It took us over nine months to fix the problem.
They never sent us the notice and they told us today when we called that they had a legal right to do that.
Ha! Chase Bank may have a legal right to do so but they SUCK at customers service and I intend to let my family and friends know about this underhanded scam and tell them to steer clear of Chase Bank. I will no longer give them any more of our money and have closed the account down and we're going to get it paid off within three weeks.
