There are some bad apples but they are not all bad

I can understand the allegations against some of the folks at Navisis, but everyone there is not bad. For the most part many of the junior advisors there are honest, hardworking guys with tons of passion. However, many of the senior guys there are corrupt and cant chose and investment to save their lives.

The senior advisors have more time in the industry, yes, but they are stuck in their ways.investing like its 1990, and the tech boom is around the corner. Its not. Churning accounts is an immature thing to do, and dissolves any trust you have built with a client. STOP DOING IT!

The junior guys, that I have dealt with, are all educated, and intelligent. They are worried about making a good impression and being the best they can be, not about how they are going to buy a new Mercedes next month.

My advice is simple, if you get a call from these guys, ask how long they have been in the business. If you get a junior guy call you give them a shot on something to let them prove themselves to you. You will know if they are junior or not because a senior guy would never take a 5k account. A younger guy will jump all over it. Furthermore, if you are concerned go the the FINRA website and do a broker check to pull up their U-4. This will allow you to see all of the charges that have been brought up against that broker.

As long as you meet the broker and do your homework Navisis is a fine company, I just happend to get stuck with a bad apple and I lost a good amount. I have learned and will not make that mistake again.
