The first "Keep-Away" sign was when their appraiser won't even contact for a week after app stated. Then they ask for your credit card payment on the phone for an appraisal cost that is 50% more than usual.
Then they came back with unreasonably lowball appraisal amount to make you pay down your original mortage.
After that, the LONG wait begins. Phone calls to the loan officer, loan processor and managers are either busy or to voicemail, and never returned, neither are emails, including the ones to their own "complaint hotline".
Weeks, then months passed, either they make you give up or everything expires and they make you pay for them all over again.
I have filed complaints with Dept. Of Consumer Affairs of New Jersey, BBB (surprise, they are not registered!).
