Here's the deal. They call me up, knowing that I have no credit. They tell me I'm eligibile for a credit card and that they would take out $199 after eight days and then $99 after a few months. I was stupid to fall for it. Its not really a credit card but a card that you use exclusively for their products. Which are stupid extremely high priced products.
They read off the conditions really fast over the phone and record you saying yes to everything. Then they get your bank information and use that to ACH the money out of your account. I fell for it. I realized that there were a lot of reports about the company on RIPOFF. So here's what I did.
I went to my bank immediately (an hour after I was ripped off), had them close my account and created a new one. I told my bank they were in a way responsible cuz all I was trying to do was build new credit. They helped me out. I put a payment of $400 to get a secured card (no one but you and the bank knows its a secured card).
The money is completely refundable. All major banks provide you with one. You can put anywhere from $200 to $5000. I suggest people with bad credit to the same. Trust me its a lot more easier than having to deal with people who constantly rip you off.
