Ipoff Credit Card with $2,500 Limit Offered For $296 Processing Fee - No Card, No Refund

I received a phone call stating that I had qualified for a Mastercard with a credit limit of $2,500. All I had to do was pay a non-refundable one-time processing fee of $296. They sounded legitimate and had all of the right answers. They told me that it would take 15-20 days before I received the card, so patiently I waited. On the 16th day, I called the company to check on the status of the card that was promised to me. I was told that I should wait another week.

I waited another week, still no card. I have tried to contact the company every day since but have not been able to get through to them. Their phone line is either busy or they are gone for the day and I get the answering machine. After reading the other consumer complaintss I know now that I have been had!
