My daughter was murdered 17 months ago, she had an accidental death policy for the amount of 30,000 dollars, and the policy would pay out 100,000 dollars if she died after her 24th birthday. Exactly 3months, and 3days after turning 24 her boyfriend killed her, and her 7month unborn fetus. My daughter named her oldest, and only daughter at that time her beneficiary. On December9 I mailed in the claim, and put down the name of the beneficiary my granddaughter who I knew was the beneficiary on my daughters policy. The claim representative Shyrl Clark, wrote me a letter asking for court appointed documents naming the guardian of the Estate of the minor beneficiary (the name of the child my daughter put down) we will continue our handling of the claim. Shyrl Clark wrote me several more times asking that I provide the needed information on the minor beneficiary (my granddaughter) to continue our handling the claim. Shyrl wrote me a letter dated March18 and said she was aware of my court date for the hearing May 5, and as soon as I get the documents she would complete the claim for the minor beneficiary named on the policy. On May 5 the judge granted me full custody of my granddaughter's, and while waiting on my custody paperwork. Shyrl, mailed me another letter dated May 24 once again asking for the court appointed guardian paperwork for the minor beneficiary. I called and told Shyrl, I was waiting on the papers from the court, she then wrote me another letter dated June 30, and said after further review of the claim it appear that my daughter has two minor children, and that she needed guardian paperwork for both minor kids to process the claim. I called her, and told her my daughter only listed one daughter as her beneficiary, and not the other child who wasn't even born at the time she got the policy. I told her was not about to change my daughters will by committing beneficiary fraud. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she refused to transfer the call to her supervisor. She even took it a step further she noted in my daughter file any, and all calls regarding my daughters claims were to be rerouted to her. I asked her for the company president name and she said I don't have to give you that information it's solely up to me to process the claim. But what she doesn't know I had already gotten the presidents name from the company without her knowledge. So I then asked Shyrl to fax me a copy of my daughter beneficiary info, and because she wanted to forge the info to support her lies about my daughter having no named designated beneficiary. She mailed me a policy with a forgery signature, the president, and secretary name had been cut and pasted. The second policy she mailed me the secretary name was the same but the president name was changed and you cannot even read it. Who does that? Change the president and secretary name on a policy. Please help me and so many other victims put Stonebridge Life out of business.
