Costs a charge to money a Pursuit bank check

I obtained a Pursuit lender personal check from the buddy for that purchase of the motor scooter. I visited the neighborhood Pursuit department in Elizabethtown, Ky to money it out to guarantee there have been no issues with the check. I had been educated that I'd have to spend $6 since I have didn't have a merchant account there despite the check being driven from their website. Exactly what a rip-off, I understand they'd not do this to a different lender. I really like my credit union next door.
