Alex Mikhails is the owner of iBroadBand.com that we attempted to utilize for credit card processing. Their merchant console showed that we had made numerous sales totalling over $180.00. We checked the console a week later and *voila* - all the sales were suddenly gone! I contacted their "support" - which always goes to Alex Mikhails - and was initially told they did not have any sales listed for our company. I then informed them I had screenshots showing there were numerous sales (and that one sale was created by myself as a test) and was told that they had made a mistake and that I did in fact have 1 sale (though it was not the test sale that I had personally made).
Apparently things did not go so well for Alex, since the iBroadBand.com site is no longer up and running and the domain is now for sale. Perhaps the California State Attorney General's office's investigation had something to do with this? He is now using monpay.com as their business. We now have the Attorney General's office investigating this organization as well, as I am sure it is a scam just like his previous ventures.
Folks, these sites and Alex Mikhails are nothing more than a modern-day scam. We have contacted the BBB and the State of California's Attorney General's office. We have also notified the FTC. For your own sake - and the sake of your business - do not trust this scam organization.
If you have been victimized by this scam artist, please notify consumer complaints. My attorney is preparing to file suit and would LOVE to make this a class-action lawsuit.
