I was trying to renew my direct general policy and accidently got permanent general. When I realized I
Got the wrong one, I called and cancelled the policy and gave the reason why. I also emailed them and faxed them. The man that took my call said no problem and that he would cancel it. (The first week before I even got a policy). Two weeks later I get a policy. I contacted them again and they said it was cancelled. Today, two months later I get a bill for $76.36the same amount I had put down. They
Kept my first month and today James told me I was to continue paying because I am not cancelled since I did not do it in writing!!! I got his supervisor who would not give a name who told me it is in the paperwork I receive by mail with my policy. Why not put that out upfront online and not hide it? I wont pay it. Ive had no other insurance company do this and this is a ripoff. They are nothing but scam artists.
