I agreed to "try" Harbortouch POS and United Bank Card, signed a contract and paid for initial start up. I paid for expedited shipping to receive equip. With in 3 days, I received system in 3 weeks! And then had to wait another week for tech to come and set up leaving me no days to meet 30 day return on signed contract!
(THIS IS A SCAM!) First week of having system set up I disliked it... It did not meet my needs that the sales person told me it would. Sales person told me "tough", you signed a contract. I wanted it gone and contract ripped up. They said no, I would have to pay an exurbanite price of a 5 year contract.
I battled this for months, meanwhile United Bank and Harbortouch are taking money out of my account at will, double charging, eroneous charges and so forth all the while saying "sorry our error" we'll put it back... But I always have to call them and tell them to put money back!
They use my bank account as if it were their own.
This company is stealing from small businesses (more than me as I see online complaints) and if you do not check your bank account on a daily basis the money they take not owed to them goes unnoticed. (THIS IS A SCAM)
This company needs to be shut down! They have cost me over a thousand in unnoticed charges, bounced checks from them taking money from account not owed to them and all the other "charges" they have taken.
The salesman MARK THOMPSON of Anchorage, AK has been rude to me at times. United Bank/Harbortouch tells me to call him when I call them and he in turn tells me to call them as he cannot and WILL NOT help me.
What a well planned circle. PLEASE somebody help us small business's who are getting scammed by UNITED BANK CARD AND their HARBORTOUCH SYSTEM companies!
