I was contacted in April by a representative via my cell phone. I had recently been searching for a new car and had filled out info on the web over a million times. I could not recall if this was one of the credit companies I addressed prior to that day. I agreed to the terms but I did question why the wanted to record my voice for confirmation. I had never heard of this with any other company.in addition they did not want me to sign anything and they were going to give me a $2000.00 credit limit with out even seeing my signature, DL or running my SSN.
To be completely honest I did not think twice about it after that until the debit of $249.00 came from my account. I quckly called the company and requested to know what the exact date of the packages arrival will be. They told me 25 business days from the 3rd of June.
It is now July 13 and still no card. I have called this company everyday since the 25 days were up. The stories seems to be that it is in shipping, they were having problems with that department and it should be here any day now.
I am guilty of falling prey to a "Too good to be true scam" please don't let it happen to you. I will get my money back no matter how long it takes, too bad I had to learn this the hard way.
Be mindfull
