Care Credit PRETENDS to offer 0% interest for 12 months. However, if you are 1 day late in a payment, they charge $35 and rack up more money for themselves than if you had payed even 25% interest to begin with. I pay varied amounts of interest on other cards, but this one seems to gauge me to the fullest! Use any other card, but this one. They told me a payoff amount, I paid it and they said my balance would be... As soon as the transaction was complete, they said the balance was $80 higher than the original quote! They said it was because of late fees. Their late fees were not even listed on the current bill. They were on previous bills which they said I could look into if I wanted. Talk about "false" advertising and a "kick in the pants"!!! Say NO to Care Credit.
