They didn't receive payment with loan modification paper work... Not true according to my records!

Our loan was unfortunately transformed to Ocwen in Nov. 2011 from Litton Loan. I heard of the horrible nightmares this company was to deal with from a NACA meeting I previously attended in Sept. 2011. Since the loan has transformed it is impossible to get someone REAL to answer the phone and when someone does, it's a customer service rep in India!

These reps have no idea what I am talking about, let alone the details of my loan. I have an extremely difficult time understanding them, and trying to piece together what I think they are saying. Many of the reps I have spoken to, are rude, angry, short patience, and talk to you like they are doing you a favor so play by their rules. When I do try to play by Ocwen's rules they are still rude.

Today I called to make a payment, after being put on hold 4 x's, a very angry rep picked up and told me that she could not take my payment it had to be made one of four ways, via cashier's check, money order, Western Union or quick collect. When I questioned why was that she flat out rudely said, I don't know why thats just what it has to be. Maybe because your loan is 137 days past due. Now how else can I help you! I responded "who are you talking to, I understand you have a job to do but you WILL NOT talk to me that way!" Needless to say the Ocwen rep stopped talking altogether. I asked her for her name and she proudly gave it to me along with her customer rep #. I am writing a letter to the company about her.

I was then informed that my loan Modification approved by my previous mortgage company was denied by Ocwen because I didn't return my paperwork before the deadline nor did I return a payment with it. I informed the rep that the paperwork said nothing about returning a payment, it just said to read over, get the paperwork notarized, and return to Ocwen by 12/12, which according to my records my husband and I did just that! I asked everything was supposed to transfer as it from Litton Loan so how can you all deny an already approved modification? Of course No response, then she did say you have a n apt to talk to a relationship counselor on Feb 11th at 2:30 go figure!

Needless, to say I never made the payment due to my account today because the rep in India couldn't get the payment to take and told me to call back and try the automated line no luck. The rude rep in FL I believe she never tried to because she was so focused on letting me know that my account is 137 days past due!

Someone somewhere MUST step in to help the everyday families who are working hard to keep our heads above water but are still coming up short. This mortgage company could care less about its borrowers and those of use trying to get back on our feet.

I pray that GOD himself will help my family as well as other families in this stressful financial situation get our mortgages back in good standing so that we all can move forward and get on with our lives!

To you all going through this nightmare, write the company, write your elected congressman to inform them of this mess and let's stand together to make change for the EVERYDAY AMERICAN FAMILIES!
