Independent Wireless, Shantee Williams, Darlene Brown, Chrisheena McGee or whatever these individuals real names are, are at it again. They are now targeting individuals with bogus positions for a company called Target Staffing USA.
I applied for a position with Independent Wireless in late March. Never heard a word from any of them until I finally spoke with Darlene Brown sometime in May. I was informed that this company is not legit in May and began the process of trying to find out more information. I was informed on the situation from someone who was actually working for the company. When I tried to call back in, I spoke with another rep for the company, Tim, and you can imagine the shock he felt when I informed him on the situation he was in. He didn't have a clue. He was receiving a paycheck from Independent, but being used to further a bogus company. He confronted Shantee Williams that evening and informed me he had no choice but to leave the company. He transferred me to Shantee's phone and I spoke with her, not letting her know that I was on to her, only trying to get some further information. She was obviously in her car traveling somewhere and she took my name and number and promised to call me back. Surprise, she didn't.
I have pretty much given up any hope of getting my $70 back for the POS headset I received. If anyone has any information on ways to retrieve lost funds or ways to report these people, please let me know. Don't give up hope of finding legitimate home based employment. There are companies out there that do have real jobs. It's truly a shame when people such as Shantee Williams, Chrisheena McGee, Darlene Brown, etc., try to take advantage of people who really want to devote their time to honest work.
