Worst credit company I ever had!

I recently had to take my 20 year old cat to the animal hospital on memorial day. The hospital tried to hit me up for $1600 for a blood transfusion for the cat among other charges. With also adding it was not wrong to put the cat down. Now I know my cat and she is a strong will cat and she can pull through anything. So when I asked if I could make payment the doctor said they don't do that and if I couldn't pay and the cat was left there she would be put down immediately. My doctor then told me about "Care Credit" she said I could use that to pay for the bill.

So she didn't tell me what my bill was until I was approved for the Care Credit and what do you know, I got approved for $500 and the hospital said your bill is $574. When I got my cat back she had a shaved arm with no bandage (which the hospital hit me for IV charge) and she was given a bath which she didn't smell any different.

So a week later I received a phone call from a 973 area code and it was GE Money Bank asking if I was satisfied with the services I received from the charge that was made. I didn't respond.

A week later I called to ask what did they mean by this call. When I got a representative she asked how she could help. I explained about the phone call and how unhappy I was with the service I received, the woman asked "Do you admit your balance is $400?" I said "that's my balance right now" and she said "Good!" Then she proceeded to tell me about a service for protection and when she was done she said "Sounds good right?" I said "It sounds like a scam and I'm not getting myself in debt." Then she said "Well your right there is a charge of a $1.99 a month..." and she went on pushing this issue. After two minutes of her wasting her breath she asked me again "Sounds good right?" I then said "No it doesn't sound good and I think it's messed up that I called to find out about a phone call you made to me a week or two ago and tell you how unhappy I was with the service given to my cat and all you can say is you owe $400 right? And then offer me some additional services that I'm not interested in! That's really messed up!" She then said with an attitude "Well there is nothing I can do for you" and she disconnect me.

Come present time, I missed one payment due to financial issues. With a 6 month promotion of no interest, I have received numerous phone calls from GE Money Bank from times of 7am to 12am. I have at least 6 different numbers calling which are 3 800 numbers, one 750 number, one 606 number, and now a 973 number. I have also received an email from them.

I called my states consumer which I got alittle run around but wound up talking to the right guy who advised me that the law says they can not call before 9am or after 9pm, according to the law written in 1765. He also said the animal hospital and the Care Credit sound like they are working together as a scam. I was actually happy to hear someone else say it besides me.

I still have yet to hear from a representative from GE Money Bank. I still get automated messages from them saying for me to call. This is a simple form of harassment and bad business. I never had a credit company that has done this. My other credit card companies I have call me once or twice but never 7 to 8 times a day from 6 different numbers.

If anyone else is having a problem call your state consumer so something can be done about this GE Money Bank.
