How can they give you credit when they don't even answer their phone

I recieved a letter in the mail from First National Credit telling me I was pre-approved for a credit card of $15,000.

The letter stated the the card was guaranteed as long as I mailed in a processing fee of either $37.00 for normal processing and delivery, or $43.00 for rush processing and delivery.

I mailed this company my check, and after I noticed the check had gone through my account with no word form this company, I called information and got a phone number for this company.

This number turned out to be a recoding telling me that they were only accepting phone calls from currently existing card holders, so basically it turned out that I could never get a hold of anyone.

I then decided to get on the internet to read about this company, and sure enough, I see other people are complaining about this company too. I can't believe this company stole $37.00 from me!!!
