I was charged 300.95 from this company back in 98-99 was just starting off with my credit and they claimed they could help me get my credit underway. As all of you know this was a big LIE.
I never recieved the product that they said I would and yet they refuse to take a credit on my account for the product. Would anyone in their right mind pay for something never recieved? I wouldn't and still won't today. This is a big fight and one that a single person can't do alone. If all the consumers were to file a complaint with their atterny genrals office things might get resolved. Also we could all sue them for damages note:
If a debt collector has violated the law, you have the right to sue a collector in a state or federal court within one year from the date the law was violated. If you win, you may recover money for the damages you suffered plus an additional amount up to $1,000. Court costs and attorney's fees also may be recovered. A group of people may sue a debt collector and recover money for damages up to $500,000, or 1 percent of the collector's net worth, whichever is less.
If anyone has recieved a letter from a debt collector working for this company I urge you to sue.
