Fraudulent charge on Mastercard from EWS-Design from Lewison, Texas in the amount of $9.95.
I have never heard of this company before.
I immediately ran the company name on the Internet and found out that it was a scam, so I didn't have to waste my precious time trying to track down these criminals.
It seems to me that some companies that are utilizing online payment systems have been hacked and that EWS-Design has then used the hacked information to generate the false charges.
What is more interesting is that Mastercard said that they would "look into the matter" and that it possibly could be a wide level fraud but that this information would only be found in their security department. I am certain that the corporate weasels of Mastercard know ALL about this, but are denying any specific knowledge. The dirty little secret will be what Mastercard does with the moneys that are paid but never processed to EWS-Design.
From others' comments it appears that EWS-Design has already been shut down. The website is offline. I have not tried to contact them
