Debt Relievers is a scam, this is coming from an x-employee. Debt Relievers claims that they will be able to lowe your monthly payment and intrest rates in 1 month after signing on the program, well let me inform you that this could be done, if the money you sent them went to the creditors on time. Here is a break down of what happens once you money is received by debt relievers. 1. Goes into processing, your money then sits there for four days, no matter if you sent elec, or by money order, then the disbursments department prints a report and disburses your money two days later, this is now 6 days. Then your payment can either go elec. Or by paper check.
The checks sit there in a drawer for another 5 days and the elec. Payments take 4 for days, then add up the time for your payment to be received by your creditor which takes another 3-4 days. So from the time your money hits DRI to the time your payment is sent is like 14-15days. Know if you call them there answer is that your money is disbursed within 4 days from the time that they receive it, uh bullshit. Managment team are all drugs addicts, not to mention does drugs around their kids. This is the same company as Christian Debt Management and please believe me when i tell you, there is no one their remotely close to Christian, not even me. Also i after left i filed a complaint will the irs for tax fraud since DB files us under a 1099, as a sub-contractor, there are no sub-contractors there.
After filing the complaint the lady, informed me that this has been the 4th compliant with the irs. Also the copy has refused on several occasions to refund clients there money even after they have completed the program, most of the time they only get half, but they don't even give there employees there last paycheck either. They are so Christian like. The owners name is Dennis McDevitt, VP, is Daniel Mcguire, and The two main managers are Terry Carmichael, and Sandra.
