I started a new business and was having difficulties getting a start up loan. Looking through the local newspaper I found a ad offering loans to people with problem credit. I called and soon after received a call from Glen Thomas. He assured me I was already approved for a $5000.00 loan. All I had to do was fill out the information he faxed me and send overnight a money order for $445.00.
When I first received the fax from him it was missing a page. The page was what had the address on it. I called him with more questions since the West Indies was a little odd and he still insisted that the money would be deposited in my account with in 2 days after they receive the $445.00. So I went ahead and sent it. Previously I tried to find a web site for the companies Delstart Management and Accurate systems and found nothing. I still proceeded.
Well finally in a search engine your web site came up with Delstar and Accurate with names like Glen Thomas. I then called him to let him know I knew he was a scam. Of course he said he wasnt and that the money would be there all we had to do was wait for more information to be faxed to us.
The next day a Lisa called wanting to fax the info to us. I told her that I had seen her name on the internet as a rip off company and that they better not cash the money order. She hung up and later another lady called asking why I was so verbally abusive to Lisa. I explained the circumstance and she informed me that if I stopped payment on the money order she would then have me blacklisted so no companies would do business with me. So not only did they get my money the have put my business in danger of failing. She said they would send my money back in 4 weeks. Like I will ever see it, so I went ahead and stopped payment anyway. The address of Delstar isnt even that company. It is a legal referal service in St. Lucia. What a laugh. If they only knew.
