This might help some who know the heartache of dealing with ameriquest. There is a class action lawsuit, but so far it is limited as to the states involved. I think they sold my house out from under me yesterday, with only two weeks notice. But that is not the problem.
The problem is that they change up the mortgage on you. Change the rates from fixed to variable. Front load the interest when they tell you they dont. And then make it imposibble to get any answeres once they have closed the deal. I just lost 75000 on my house in equity i still had in it. And they knew they were breaking the law. Beware, if its too late, check into the lawsuit.
