Took $299.00 from my checking account on 10/29/03 for a $2500.00 limit credit card

I received a phone call stating that I could get a credit card with the limit amount of $2500.00 before the holiday. The guy said that I would receive a credit card from the bank and all I had to do was sign my name on the signature card and I would get the credit card after the bank received my signature card back.

On October 29 the company took $299.00 from my checking account.in November I called back at the 1800 number and the guy told me that I would receive the card in the mail in 2 weeks. I called them in December and the said that they send it out 12/15/03 and some man signed for it. The guy told me that he would send it out again.

Well, it is now April and I hvae called the customer service number and they informed me that I am no longer in the system becasue the dropped the company. I call the number I had for SouthStar Benefits and it is disconnected. I want to get my money back and I will never again receive calls from anyone selling credit card or other things.
