After fighting this foreclosure nightmare for over a month and suffering physically and emotionally to the point of exhaustion, I finally borrowed the $6300 that Ocwen said I owed - tripled due to bogus fees and foreclosure costs, and sent it to them. I had requested they send me a forebearance agreement but their 9 page forebeance agreement was a sham and would not cite definite costs and would have kept reporting monthly deliquencies to the credit bureaus.
Now I have sat down and figured up my payments to Ocwen and they acutally have shorted me over $3000.in payments and created this embarrasing foreclosure situation and forced me to borrow $5000 more dollars from a high interest (robber) loan.
I noticed that the dates on their statements were always inconsisitent. One month the statement would arrive on the 12th, or the 17th or the 22nd. The statements listed the same charges as the previous months, many times doubling or tripling the amount owed in just one month.
Please check your statments from Ocwen and put a rebuttal here so that I can gather information to see if there are any consistencies in their statements.
Should I try to point this out to them that they have overcharged me by thousands or just file an individual lawsuit or join the class action. I am afraid they will go out of business before this gets straigtened out. What will happen to my morgate then? I feel like they owe me my whole mortage because they have cheated me so badly.
Their statements are so confusing it would take more than an accountant to interpret them. They had me thinking I was months behind and at several points I had actually overpaid them but the statments did not show it and kept double billing or triple billing me.
What is the fastest way for me to try to get resolution? I can't afford to repay the loan and pay the Ocwen payments at this rate.
Thanks for any advice.
