Been behind on payments while trying to sell the property, Fairbanks sent a foreclosure demand letter to my mother. I haven't lived at that address for 16 years and they were never given it as a prior address. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Collection Act by discussing the matter (via letter) sent to an uninvolved third party.
Just filed for a forbearance and they said they'd work with me if I make a larger monthly payment for 6 months and send them the listing agreement for the sale. These people refuse to send monthly bills before the 15th of the month, when the payment is late. If I send a payment without their payment coupon, they hold it until they can call it late and tack on late fees.
