I have 2 accounts w/Capital One. Neither are even close to limits and I pay on time.
When I signed up Cap one asked if I wanted to select my payment due date, I said yes, as I always had my payments taken care of online via internet banking. I selected the 21st of each months for both cards.
I have had no problems with this, until now. On 3/20 I approved a payment to Capital one for MORE than my current amt due, which I always do... I always pay more. I received a confirmation sheet from their company and printed it out and thought no more abt it. I went to file the bill and the confirmation sheets yest (3/21) and I noticed that my due date had changed to the 20th: O
I called Cap1 to inquire abt this, I got hogwash explainations and the run around I was lso told I was late and was charged on both accts. I said oh no im not. I am fighting as I type with then right now. They are telling me I have to fax my conf sheets and write a letter!!! Ummmmm nooooooo, I have no fax machime so who's paying for my time to go to a fax machine and fax this stuff and the fee for faxing as well.
Ok so I want to see... Who else has this prob and how are you handling it... Any advice?
Oh and BTW I paid on the date due anyway so why am I getting a late fee!!! Due the 20th paid on the 20th???
