I defaulted on BofA credit card payment. I picked up the payments with $100-$200 monthly payments thereafter. I made arrangements for a long-term payoff, calling BofA periodically (Customer Service) to ensure my account hadn't been sold. Payments were made, accepted by them and no problem and no calls. July 15, I went into a BofA bank lobby to make a payment and discovered the account was sold and I no longer could make payments at a BofA branch. All my receipts, bank withdrawals, and money orders were tallied and figures are flying everywhere. What started out as at around $3000 owed, ended up close to around $5800 - no notice, no nothing. HELP! I'm being duped out of my hard earned money.
