I applied for a loan through local Thrifty Nickel, and on January 30 got a call back from Lynn Matthews from PCA. She stated thatI was fully approved, but because my credit was not that great, they would have to approach a high risk lender. Me, being in the desperate situation that I was in, I followed directions that they gave me, sent in my two payments of $228.40 as security/collateral, dumb on my part and all requested paperwork they needed a credit report and said that I was already approved.
When they received it they said it should take 3 days to go through the verification department and then my check would be in the mail or direct deposited into my account.
Well long story short, 3 days turned into 13 and no money. I had to call and talk to my representative Kim Rice and her supervisor Eve (with no last name) for them to tell me that I was not approved and that my money should be refunded to me by the end of the week.
So far no money. What a rip off! When I asked what PCA stood for Eve said nothing, just PCA and that their website was under construction, how convenient.
