Fairway Lending Group
Loan scam

My ordeal began on Monday, January 21st when I got a call from Mark Spears, Senior Loan Consultant at Fairway Lending Group, regarding a loan application I applied for through the internet. I chose Fairway Lending Group because they specialize on high risk credit loans. He told me I was approved for the loan I applied for under one condition, because my credit was considered high risk, I had to make the first 6 monthly payments up front, a total of $930.00, which will go toward the loans principal, he also stated this money needed to be sent Western Union within 4 business days. The monthly payments are $155.00 USD so the total of $930.00 was needed by Friday, January 25th or the loan agreement will be voided.
I faxed over the sign agreement on Wednesday, which seemed to be legitimate.

The agreement was signed by Mark and myself. It stated all of the same information Mark and I discussed. It went over the details of the loan and the up-front payment and that I would receive the loan money direct deposit into my checking account within 1 business day. Mark Spears told me once he receives my money the loan would be in my account the very next day, I sent the money Western Union to Canada (the address he gave me) on Thursday, January 24. I have gave them everything I had which was $300.00 and the rest of it, $630.00, was a loan from a friend. They asked me to wire the money to Lisa Cougle, Account Rec Manger, Pikeville, Alberta, Canada. Mark told me, if anyone asks you if you know Lisa Cougle to tell them yes so they won't charge me more money on the transfer. I wired the money on Thursday January 24 at 6:02 from Wal-Mart per their request. I called Mark Spears immediately after the wiring and gave him the reference number he needed to process the loan. The next morning I waited until 11:30 to call Mark and inquire about the money since it wasn't in my checking account as I was told it would be and as the loan paperwork stated. Mark said that the money should be in my account and told me to call Terry Finkel, Customer Service Manager, and he would be able to give me more information because Mark had already sent my files to another department. When I called Terry Finkel about my loan, he said he would not be able to give me the loan because of my high risk credit.

Terry said that if I sent them another $930.00, my money will be in my account in three hours or I can cancel the loan and get my money back with penalties and fees on February 15th, this is when he said they cut checks. I told him that I sent gave him everything I had and I don't have any more money to give him and I wouldn't anyway. I reminded him that Mark Spears and I have a signed documents between us stating the deal of the loans (terms and conditions of the loan and those are legal and binding documents).
I've left messages for Mark Spears and spoke to Terry Finkle, neither one seems to be worried about returning my money. I'm concerned if I will even get my money back or if I've been scammed. I gave them all that I had for this loan, I have no money and I have a 15 year old son at home. We have no food or money and I really need to see if I can get my money back from them right away. If I sent the money Western Union as they requested - since I was approved for the loan, shouldn't they have to return my money Western Union, right away, since suddenly I'm not. Are they legally allowed to hold onto my money? I need your help. Contact information for Terry Finkle 1-866-681-1281 ext 773 and contact information for Mark Spears 1-866-681-1281 ext 338. I also have the loan documents and Western Union documents I'd be happy to provide you with. Thank you so much for anything you can do to help me.
