Back in May Dargon was to help me obtain a Loan Modification - I paid them $2,700 up front and sent them all paperwork required - bank statements, payroll records, etc etc.
(I initially checked with the BBB and checked their website - everything looked good)
I spoke with a lawyer at Dargon who was very knowledgeable. (I have names & dates in my " five inch" file folder at home)
Then~
After emailing and telephoning this firm numerous times, I finally discovered that they were out if business (August) emails were returned undeliverable, one telephone line was not answered; the other line was no longer in service, faxes were not answered. Emails were undeliverable, except one email sent from Dargon with an attachment - It had a virus! (I did not open this email)
I contacted the Attorney General and Banking in the State of Connecticut. They were unable to help me get my money back.
In November I was able to get a "Trial Loan Modification" with my loan servicer and in March my mortgage was finally modified!
Meanwhile, I have sent a written complaint about my problem to the State of Washington.
Bottom Line: I want my money back...
