Wells Fargo Home mortgage is stealing our home from us. We have tried to get into their loan modification program for 6 months. They continue to remove us or request additional information that they already have. I have complied with every request but they still removed us from their program so they send our property to foreclosure.
I lost my job in November and was out of work for 5 months. Even though we were behind we made payments to them every month. I returned to work in May and attempted to make payment arrangements with Wells Fargo. They returned the payment we made in May last week, and sent us to foreclosure. We are less than 3 months behind total.
At this point they are still refusing to put us in loan modification and they refuse to accept any payments to bring the loan current. I can not believe that our government allows such illegal behavior from a mortgage lender like this to continue. We have been in this home for 8 years and we have never even made a late payment until this happened. We are in desperate need of assistance from anyone that can help us or shed light on this matter.
